Inspired by the title of the Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer 1933 novel - here I take a look at various crossovers, interesting connections and more. Let's see what the Universe has in store for us...This latest evidence just goes to show that even Doctor Who monsters like to emulate one another - who would have thought that The Abzorbaloff and a Marshman would have something in common? On other days they chase unsuspecting Humans around car parks disguised as Daleks!
“I'm a Marshman!”The Abzorbaloff first appeared in 2006 story Love & Monsters, a mostly Doctor-lite adventure featuring Peter Kay, Marc Warren, Shirley Henderson, Simon Greenall, and Moya Brady.
“I'm The Abzorbaloff!”You can find the Marshmen in 1980 Fourth Doctor serial Full Circle, co-starring Lalla Ward (Romana), Matthew Waterhouse (Adric), and John Leeson as the voice of K-9 Mark II.
