Artist and children's book illustrator Andrew Skilleter has long been associated with Doctor Who, commissioned to bring life to the many books, videos, magazines and CDs available on the market at one time or another. Born in the UK, Andrew is also an official Star Wars artist and had founded Who Dares Publishing in addition to the publication of several books in both the UK and US. "Purchase any two prints from the shop between now and December 5th [2011] and you will receive, completely free, a unique facsimile A4 print of Andrew’s pencil ‘rough’ for the Doctor Who Target Invasion book cover, reproduced to the same size as the original. It is printed in 8 Colours using light fast archival inks with a lifespan of over 75 years and printed on 202 gsm cream water colour paper, each produced, approved, titled, and signed by the artist.
"This print will not be released commercially and is likely to become a collector’s item. Set discreetly at the bottom of the print in grey type is the following text: 'A Fascimile of the ‘Rough’ drawing for the The Invasion for the Doctor Who Target series as submitted to W H Allen 1984'"
